Kalevi Kostiainen, CEO, Magsort:
“I’d like to thank the board for the vote of confidence. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Magsort on such an important decarbonization mission, and I look forward to continuing that mission in my new position.
I will continue to be deeply involved in the sales process and further developing customer relationships. This market is now expanding due to the growing demand for low-CO2 raw materials in the cement industry and emissions reduction targets in the steel industry.
We keep pioneering in this new field even though our solution has already found a solid product-market-fit.
All in all, both the opportunity and impact are enormous, and we are at a very exciting growth stage for the company.”
Harri Kerminen, Chairman of the Board, Magsort:
“Kalevi Kostiainen has extensive experience, a deep understanding of our business and a strong vision for the future of Magsort. His proven track record in driving growth and leading high-performing teams makes him well-suited to guide the company through its next chapter.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our previous CEO, Kalle Rasinmäki, for his leadership and dedication to drive Magsort to its current position.”
